New Location: John Muir Middle School
The Wausau Nordic Ski Club is planning to hold our ANNUAL SKI SWAP on Friday and Saturday, November 4 & 5 at John Muir Middle School. The event will be held in cooperation with the Rib Mountain Ski Club who will have alpine gear available while we will have lots of Nordic gear available.

If you want to get some good, used equipment, this is the place to come in and check things out. More than likely, there is something there for you.
There will be a few outside vendors as well selling new gear.

The WAX BENCH is a service available during the day that will cleaning and glide waxing of your skis as well as binding changes. Bring your skis in for a preseason tune-up.
Schedule
The schedule has changed this year because of the new venue. Friday evening will be reserved for set-up and vendor check-in after 6:00 pm. Both public drop-off and the sale will take place on Saturday. See the complete schedule for the day below.

Swap Location and Access Information
The Swap is at a new location this year. We will be hosting the Swap at John Muir Middle School in the gymnasium. Entrance to the Swap will be from the south side doors (Stewart Ave side) toward the west end of the building. The main doors in the circle drive will be locked. You can park in the lot on the south side of the school or in the main lot off 11th Ave. Click on the image below for more details.

Ski Swap – Volunteers Needed
There are shifts and jobs needed on both Friday for set-up and on Saturday with equipment check-in and the sale. We have new hours that are summarized belolw as well as the new location.
On Friday, we will be setting things up in the evening starting at 6:00 pm. There is no general gear drop-off on Friday, but we hope to have vendor gear checked in on Friday. On Saturday will be gear drop-off in the morning and then the sale begins at Noon Volunteers are needed for set-up, working during the swap and clean-up afterwards. We hope we can count on you for a shift.
