Nine Mile Update – Volunteers Needed for Clean-up

 In Nine Mile

On Friday, December 16 at 10:00am, we are going to gather volunteers to help with some trail clean-up at Nine Mile. As you may have seen on Facebook or heard otherwise, there is a great deal of downed tree limbs and branches that will need to be moved off the trail to allow for grooming and eventual opening of the ski trails. Volunteers will not run power equipment but will help with removal of the debris using loppers or pole saws as well as just picking up sticks and tossing them off the trail.

We will meet at the garage behind the chalet at 10:00 am. If you have them, you might want to bring snowshoes. You can also bring any loppers or pole saws that you might have. There is some equipment out there, but it won’t hurt to have more on hand, if needed. Then, of course, dress appropriately for the conditions.

This one the County guys will move. We will do the smaller stuff.
