Nine Mile Work Day Planned for 12/21/20
The wind put down a lot of dead branches and debris on the ski trails last week. To help get the trails ready for the next significant snow, we are hoping we can get some of our club members to assist in the cleanup. We will meet Tuesday, December 21 at 9:00 am near the gargage behind the chalet. A small garden rake would be useful to bring if you have one. If we can get a decent turnout, we can probably get this done quickly, but it just depends on how many hands we have to help. Cleaning up the debris will make it so much easier to get a skiable surface when the snow returns and let you use your “A” skies sooner. Questions can be directed to firstname.lastname@example.org. Hope to see a good turnout tomorrow. Please be advised that trail conditions could be on the slippery side with a light snow over ice. If you have something you can put on your boots to dig into the ice, it might be good to bring them along.
