What is Classic vs Skate?

When reviewing the class list, you will observe a distinction between classic and skating techniques, each employing distinct methods for propelling oneself forward with a kick and glide rhythm.

Many adults typically commence with a classic stride and may later explore skating, although the latter is not obligatory. Developing a proficient classic technique facilitates a smooth transition to skating when ready.

Individuals with prior experience on ice skates or roller blades may find mastering the skate technique relatively manageable. Classic skiing is also referred to as diagonal stride.
