Tribute Golf Course
Snow on the Tribute Golf Course is groomed by WNSC for freestyle, classic, fat biking, and snowshoeing, through a partnership with CWOCC. Please stay off the course until we have adequate snow and frost to groom without damaging the fairways and green, and always stay on the trails only.
Look for updates on the trails and club events in the Bunkers clubhouse, which was the club’s headquarters back in the seventies and eighties.
Snekkevik
The Snekkevik Ski Race is the second oldest continuing organized ski race in the state, held each year in January. In 2023 due to snow conditions the Snekkevik was held as a youth only race at Tribute instead of all ages at Nine Mile. A roaring sucess, the greater Wausau community loved seeing the racers from the road and plans immediately began for future Tribute races.
Bunkers @ Tribute Golf Course
When you're done skiing, head inside Bunkers Bar & Grill. The casual and comfortable atmosphere is the perfect place to unwind, meet a group of friends, or bring the family for dinner.
Award-Winning Executive Chef Drew Steinke has been serving up his local flavor here since 2018. Bunkers offers a wide variety of options, from appetizers to lavish dinner entrees with fresh and many local ingredients. Many of our dishes are unique and made with scratch-kitchen ingredients. Bunkers also offers classic favorites including wings, burgers, Caesar salads, traditional Wisconsin fish fry, Sunday Brunch, and more!
