Snow Striders

Sundays at Nine Mile beginning January 8th from 2-3pm

The Wausau Nordic Ski Club hosts the Snow Striders program for children in grades kindergarten(K4) through 3rd grade. The program is a fun introduction to skiing and enjoying winter outside! Rental skis, boots, and poles (for older children) are available at no cost during each session.

Attendance at each session is not mandatory but the more you can attend, the more you learn!

Snow Striders is FREE for club members - join Wausau Nordic Ski Club as a family and enjoy winter together! If you have multiple children in the program, please sign up each child individually.    

Parents or guardians should plan to volunteer for at least two sessions. Parents are also encouraged to help out on the trails and practice area and just need to wear skis or snowshoes. No experience is needed to help. You can sign-up here for specific dates to lend a hand.
